Our meetings are casual and are held in the homes of our members so that attendees have an opportunity to see a working fishroom, talk about Killies, have refreshments and get acquainted with other Killie hobbyists. We have a brief business meeting followed by a mini auction of Killies, plants and fish foods. New guests are always welcomed but we do appreciate a RSVP so the hosts can plan accordingly.

The Wisconsin Area Killifish Organization invites anyone interested in Killifish to join theclub! WAKO members meet on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 2pm. We have members in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Minnesota. Since we cover a large area, we meet at various members homes across the state of Wisconsin. This allows members to attend the meetings that are within driving distance.

Our meetings are very informal and usually consist of killie conversation accompanied by a nice spread of food and beverages. Meetings conclude with an auction of Killifish and plants with all proceeds going to the seller.
