Welcome to Convention 2011

Hi Folks,
Well it’s that time of year again. The AKA Convention is on Memorial Day weekend and is being hosted by the Chesapeake Area Killi Club and the Keystone Killy Group. This years Convention is being held at the BWI Airport Marriott on Friday May 27th and continues until Monday May 30th. The hotel has shuttles running to Light-rail that connects to the Inner Harbor of Baltimore or the Smithsonian Museum District in Washinton DC. Oh, and lets not forget Georgetown! This is the perfect opportunity to make the 2011 Convention a real family vacation and for some, a once in a lifetime experience.

The plans for the Convention are going very well. We have Frans Vermeulen from Aruba, Wolfgang Eberl from Germany and Tony Pinto as speakers. These gentlemen are all expert collectors/breeders and each one will give a presentation. Wolfgang on his collections the Cameroon and Gabon, Frans on collections in South America. Also we have a behind the scenes tour of the Baltimore Aquarium scheduled on Monday. And fish lots and lots of fish. In addition 2 work shops and lots of fısh! This is the beginning of the AKA’s 50th year, so come and join us In Baltimore and start the celebration. We will update the information as it is available. Outstanding speakers, Great location, Wonderful hotel. So start planning now for an event that promises to be one to remember. The only thing missing is You.

Please register early...... And bring the family !
