The Convention Organizing Committee will be instituting a new system this year for benching show fish.  Please be prepared to tank all of your own entries - you will be required to do the tanking.  There will some available staff for assistance.  Convention Workers will take and place the tanks in the Show Room.  If you drop off a box of fish expecting them to be tanked, then a box of fish will remain on the floor and not entered into the show.  There are limits on the number of available staff at this years show.

1.  If possible, send in your entry forms prior to the convention to tgrady@twcny.rr.com.  If the entries change, we can make the alterations at the door.  If you have the forms in early, then your tags will be ready prior to the tanking process.

2.  If you bring your entry form with you, please take it to the computer table as soon as possible (including Thursday).  We will make the entries as fast as we can and give you the tags when they are completed.

3.  Once you have your tags, after 12 pm (noon) on Friday you may proceed into the processing station - not before.

4.  You may use your own water, but there will be plenty of carbon pre-filtered water available.

5.  At the processing station, you will be able to tank your fish and then you turn them over to the processing staff who will place them in the correct class areas.  No one will be allowed in the show room itself except convention staff.

6. We will accept donations to the AKA for the auction this year.  These fish may be entered in the show, but not judged.  They will receive a special designation.

Class 16-18:   Unless the entry is picked up prior to the final closing of the show room at midnight Saturday, all photographs. slides and artistic renderings will be entered in the Sunday Auction.  The Organizing Committee will not return entries via mail unless the entry was accompanied by a self-addressed package with full postage.  The cost of mailing the items is detrimental to the show because it is considered a loss of revenue (for both trophies and postage) in classes which formerly were not sold at auction (unless donated which is historically uncommon).
