"I was born in 1964. Started with Tropical fish at the age of 6 years. I got hooked on killies in 1974 and never stopped (thank you Dad). Specialized in Lampeyes in 1978 and still going for those little fish. Started in 1988 the L.I.G. (Lampeye Interest Group), mostly with European Killie Friends. I have been editor of the KFN (Killi Fish Nederland = Dutch Killifish Association) for 10 years. Served on the KFN BOT for the same period of years. A the moment I am doing my last year of the term on the AKA BOT."
"I made several trips in the Southern States of the US. Learning about the native fishes. Been to Mexico twice, trying to find Riv. Robustus. (Still have to go again). Did Brazil in 1998, had a lot of fun and returned with a lot of experience. Still have a lot of plans, to little time and to many countries with killies...."
