
We Need Your Help - Please Make a Donation! The George Maier Fund has been established to provide grants for research and/or conservation projects dealing with killifishes. Grants are given on the basis of merit and are open to everyone regardless of race, nationality, gender, religious affiliation or membership status in the American Killifish Association. The fund is named to honor the memory of George Maier, a founding member of the American Killifish Association.
All donations to the George Maier Fund will be placed into an account separate from the General Fund of the American Killifish Association and will be invested at the highest yield consistent with safely. The interest earned from the fund will be used to support research and/or the conservation of killifishes. Under no circumstances will the principal be placed in the General Fund of the American Killifish Association or used for purposes other than the stated goals. Please contribute.
