Has anyone come across a two headed hatchling like Scott Douglass has written about? Does anyone have any pics? I am very curous about this. Please respond. Thanks, jeffcanbefound@aol.com

I'm not sure about the article you refer to but yes I have seen a few pictures of siamese twin or two headed fish. I have had several livebearer siamese twins myself but they never lived more than about a day. There is a picture in the book "genetics for aquarists" of some siamese twin guppies that actually matured. One of the twins remained small while the other grew up. A guy in my locl aqaurium club had some cichlids (I forget the species but I think they were rift lake) that had several siamese twin fish with multiple variations. As I recall his lived for a week or so.

I am fairly new to killies(April of this year), but I have seen alot of conjioned twins. I never could get a 2 headed fish to live but I did raise a guppy with 2 tails. I was hoping it was a genetic sport so I could get it to breed true but all offspring and even back breeding produced regular fry. I am sure I will see it to some extent in killies in the future.

I have yet 2 see a2 headed fish but i heard that oogleflurps can have multiple body parts. 4 more info on oogleflurps, check out what i posted on them (oogleflurps does any1 have any) posted on the forum on 12/17/05

Here is a picture a guy in my fish club posted. It is actually a two mouthed trout not a two headed one like I mislabled the picture.
