I recently discovered that if I stayed logged in as an AKA member, I did not open the in the traditional mode. if I logged out and logged in, it went directly to the traditional mode. however, when I left the site without logging out and returned, it went to the newer mode. ??

Lee,

I don't quite understand what you mean by logging in as an AKA member. Do you mean if you use the Remember Me option so that you don't have to enter your user name and password each time vs logging off and then logging on (again as an AKA member)?

I tried switching to the traditional theme (in Firefox) then closed the browser. I started the browser again and it still showed the traditional theme. I was logged on using the Remember Me option.

This function depends on cookies. Does your browser allow cookies to be set by the site? You have set traditional as your default theme, which I think would explain why you get that theme when you log off, then on again, whereas if you are using Remember Me and simply close the browser and later open it again, your previous theme would not be remembered if your browser is not allowing the cookie to be set.

At my end, it is working.

Barry,
I am only reporting what I experienced. If I stay logged in it reverts to the new light blue format. If i log out and log back in it goes to the traditional, which I prefer and chose as default. I don't understand it either. If I don't log out but go on to other web pages (mot aka.org) and then go back to aka.org and have stayed logged in as an AKA member it reverts to the "new" paler blue hard to read style. Now I know it, I can alleviate my vision problems. Until it changes.

I've just renewed my dues, and would like to change my password. Where on the web site may I do that?

Thanks,
Wayne Morrow

Log on and go to "Manage Profile" (in the top row of items on the home page).
