Preserved Gnatholebias hoignei available

I lost 3 Gnatholebias hoignei to a condition I have not seen previously, skin eruptions with scale-sized bubbles after the fish swelled and lost mobility. I suspect myxosporida simply based on past experience with SA annuals, but my eye (now singular) isn't up to snuff nor my tactile abilities to do a necropsy. I used to bring these strange cases to Ed Noga at the NCSU vet school, but he's now gone. Is someone still practicing fish or veterinary medicine and willing to take charge of these fish? I saved them in 70 percent isopropanol. Or you could forward this message to someone still active at a university and I could send them on. I'd surely love someone to find something publishable here and get the information out into the literature if it truly is different or at least unusual. - Bob Goldstein
