For those interested, we are pleased to announce that eJAKA volume 2 is now available. This volume contains JAKA and Killie Notes from 1971-1980 in searchable PDF format. It also contains the second edition of Exchanges, the "manual" for shipping killies and killie eggs, even though that document was published before 1970. (Volume 1 of eJAKA has the first edition of Exchanges).

An index, based on the one created by Lee Harper, is also included.

Will volume 2 be available for pick up at the national in St. Louis?

Things are a tad uncertain at the moment. If I was to order one and then be unable to attend & pick it up there, could a friend pick it up on my behalf?

I had not planned to bring any of the CDs to the convention. I did that last time to try to help promote the convention but, frankly, only a few people took advantage of it. Bottom line, I'd prefer to send it by mail. Shipping and handling is included in the price.

I would like to urge all members to take advantage of these deeply informative cd's of past issues of Killie Notes and JAKA. The information available within their pages is irreplaceable. There was a qualitative and quantitative difference of involvement in the hobby with hobbyists during these years and that widespread commitment brought about a great deal of one of a kind information on an array of subjects. The AKA itself was a different "animal" in those early years, one that people today might find inviting. I wish to thank Barry for his great and generous work and am looking forward to the next installment.
