First I'd like to say that I enjoy reading the e-mails that I get from this
list. I am having a problem. I bid on eggs on Aquabid.com, and I have been
having a problem with hatching eggs that are sent to me in peat. It seems that I
see a few eggs, not anywhere near the 30 or 50 that the seller claims to be
in there. And I put the peat in a few inches of water, and in a few days
nothing happens. Then I re-bag the peat, wait a month and put the peat back in
water, and then look in the water, and move the peat around, and I don't find
any eggs. I have bought from different sellers and the same thing happens to
me every time. I'm starting to think that I am doing something wrong, cause
I'm definitely not going something right (LOL) The sellers are from over
seas, and I was thinking that maybe the packages getting X-rayed might be killing
the eggs. The eggs I was buying were Rachovii Beira 98. Does anyone have any
experience with this species? Are their eggs rather sensitive? Does anyone
on this list know where I can get these eggs inside the USA? Thanks, Jeff
