Rather than sift the Daphnia, I put the adults in as they provide a ready source of baby Daphnia for the fry. Really handy if going away for a few days

I read in here though with envy as to the breeds you have in the States as the total count for us is maybe 25.

Another proble with mixing Australi and Gardneri is that the females are similar to a newby and should realy be avoided if breeding is concidered in the future.

I would normally expect to have Gardneri to over half an inch in about a month or less by feeding BBS twice a day as well as some frozen blood worms
