Thank you for the correction Barry. It is good to know that eggs can be stored in them.
I store fish food in them and also freeze extra food in them (while using smaller canisters in the fish room). I don't know what brand was used by s seller of algae tablets (intended for some golden bristlenoses)at a local swap meet. But some of those bags have a checkered career and one is just useless after a couple of openings. So caveat emptor.
The idea of a killie club table at a huge local swap meet (sponsored by the GCCA) was Todd Toerpe and Gene Sladek's idea. It has proved a useful way to present killies to a lot of aquarists who have never really seen them before!
I was a little worried that it would look like the Chicago killie dingy would be towed behind the Greater Chicago Cichlid Association's dreadnaught as one of 70 venders. However they have been gracious hosts and it is nice running the killie banner past 1,100 consumers every couple of months.
