Search results are affected by what you choose in the "Search in", "Search in category" and "Search term" boxes. Headings are in a field at the top of each entry, containing the genus or species name, or the author. A search in "Headings" will find only references with that heading. Accounts are the full entry for a genus, species, or reference. A search within "Accounts" will find any entry containing the search term within its text, & thus more hits. You can also choose to search only in "Genera", "Species", or "References". For example, searching for "Nothobranchius", choosing "Headings" and "Genus", will produce only one hit, the entry for that genus. Changing that search to "Species" rather than "Genus", will produce all of the entries for fish in that genus. Note that these are wildcard searches so that a search for "Fundulus" would find both Fundulus and Austrofundulus.
